Hydrovac Excavating continues a legacy of family-owned business innovation, reaching back to 1934. In 2003, when Ira Conklin III first encountered Hydrovac technology, he immediately recognized its potential. His experience and foresight allowed him to see the advantages and growing need for non-damaging excavation technology as infrastructure increasingly moved underground.

After spending a month learning everything he could about the Hydrovac excavation process, Ira brought the first Hydrovac truck to New York state. As the demand for non-damaging excavation has grown, Hydrovac has evolved its fleet of Hydrovac trucks at an average of two per year while also adding Core and Attenuator Trucks. 

The family legacy continues with Ira Conklin IV providing dedicated service and the tradition of integrity at the helm of Hydrovac Excavating.
